THE CHALLENGE
To create a different take on the traditional representation of Alice in a new and refreshing way.
MY APPROACH
I experimented with texture to create a mysterious world in which the story would unfold, and illustrated a character that was not the typical depiction of Alice you’d see. The colours were selected to enhance this bold take. I created endpapers that play on the ‘Drink Me’ idea, but place it in a modern world.
THE RESULT
The cover is an experimental project with a visually striking outcome that combines a variety of graphic techniques to achieve this.
